Karli Stephenson joined the City of Asheville as an Urban Designer and Public Art Coordinator in January of 2022. She works on a variety of urban design projects that support and enhance Asheville’s public realm. She manages the Art in the Heart Program, part of the engagement effort for the Pack Square Plaza Visioning and Improvements project. Prior to joining the City of Asheville, she worked for several years with the City of Raleigh's Urban Design Center. She has a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University.
